The Ernie Ball Slinky Bass string is very smooth to the touch when compared to other roundwound strings. Offered at a very economical price, they still hold their own when it comes to tone. The Ernie Ball's have a low-end punch that comes through when using more aggresive techniques, like slapping and popping. Made in USA

The D'Addrio Chromes are some of my favorite strings. A very versatile string, they offer all the benefits of flats, but you can still get a round sound out of them when desired. The Chromes have a warm tone with an edge to it and you can nearly mimic the sound of an upright bass, without paying the premium prices of some of the other flat wound strings out there. Chromes sound stellar while using some muting techniques and they'll last you a long time. Made in USA

ROTOSOUND TRU BASS
Nylon Bass String
The Rotosound Tru Bass strings are something special. They have a very, very warm tone. You can bend notes further with these strings, they give you a little more control with your pitch. The Tru Basses are slightly thicker than the D'Addario Black Nylons (also a quality nylon string). It was a tough decision, but I prefered the feel of the Trus in the end. Made in UK
