THOMASTIK-INFELD JAZZ FLATWOUND
THOMASTIK-INFELD JAZZ FLATWOUND VS. D'ADDARIO CHROMES
A look at two well made flatwound strings, the Rotosounds are hard to beat, but in the end I prefer the Chromes
The TI's have a very smooth, almost silky, feel. A very high quality string, once in your hands, the craftmanship is obvious. Very versitile tone, harnessing all the benefits of roundwounds as well as flatwounds. Ideal for fretless basses & they last forever.
Two of my favorite strings on the market, both are very smooth to the touch. The Thomastik strings have a smaller diameter and are better for bending notes & faster lines. The Chromes have a fatter sound & excel with slapping & muting techniques in comparison to the TI's
